Would a novel work without a good cover? Similarly, a website without a good domain name is worthless. The power of a good domain has influence far beyond what you could imagine. But, don't think if you put all your creativity into your domain name, you will get a great one. So what could be the key to finding good domain ante easily and without putting in too much effort? You have to check whether the domain name is good for the search engines, because they pick certain keywords to index the domain names, and hence the websites. Make your keyword sound compelling and make it oriented for the search engines too. Read this article to understand how both these can be achieved.
Your first objective is to find a search engine optimized keyword that you can use in your domain name. Use a keyword analyzer to get this done. You will able to find such tools by searching on popular Internet engines. Think of a sample keyword that tells about what your site is and enter it into the tool. The keyword analyzer will give you many different versions for the single keyword you used. Choose those keywords from this list that describe more about what your website is about. A rule of search engine optimization is to use low competition keywords because they increase your chances of getting found. Now, you can begin thinking about your real domain name.
The company that provides domain names will let you know if a particular domain name is available. The domain name service will also suggest alternatives if the one you put in is not available. Put in your keyword first - this way you can better use this tool. You will get other recommendations if this particular keyword is not available to use as the domain name. You must definitely consider any suggestion that has the main keyword and a .com suffix. You will have to use your creative mind to think of options if this is not present. By putting in filler words in the domain name, you may be able to find an available option that still keeps your keyword.
Three interesting fillers you can use are 'a', 'an' and 'the'. You get a good domain name, and you also get it indexed because the search engines will simply ignore such buffer words. Use numbers at the end of the phrase. Any number like 80 or anything else will do. Below we describe what you must do if you get all else but not the .com suffix.
With a very popular keyword, it does not matter if your extension is .com or something else. You may think of extensions such as .org, .biz and .net. Another trick is to use a state or country extension in the domain name. Consider this if you do not lay more stock with the difference between worldwide or local marketing. It is much better for your business if you are number 5 in the Italian version of Google than if you are number 500 in America's version of Google. It is not complicated to have a domain name that serves well for your visitors as well as for the search engines.
Conclusion
The keyword tool will influence 90% of the success of your domain name; the rest will depend on how innovative and creative you are. If nothing else helps you, the extensions surely will.

- IRS Adjusts Mileage Deductions As Fuel Prices Spike We are from the IRS and we're here to help you. Most people would smirk at such a statement, but the agency is actually very proactive when taxpayers face a universal issue like the current spikes in gasoline prices. One of the great deductions available in the tax code is the business mileage deduction. If you drive on business matters, you can deduct the mileage at the end of the year by multiplying your total miles by a figure set by the IRS. How does the IRS determine the business mileage deduction rate? It is a hodge podge of factors including car insurance, vehicle depreciation and fuel costs. When one of these goes up, the IRS reacts to its credit. The IRS uses projections to come up with a figure before each year begins to let taxpayers know what to expect. This year, the deduction rate was set at 50.5 cents for every business mile incurred. Although the milege deduction rate is usually not changed, there is precedent for doing so. When prices are serious effected, the IRS can act on its own as it did during Katrina when gas prices shot up do to gas shortages in the South. Whether it is profiteering, a weak dollar, peak oil or some other reason, oil prices have shot up in 2008. In San Diego, we are closing in on $5 a gallon. This is in comparison to 2002 when we were paying only $1.75 for the same gas. While the rest of the government twiddles its collective thumbs, the IRS is doing something to help people. Who would've guessed it? The agency has cranked the business deduction rate up to 58.5 cents for the remainder of 2008. How do I come up with a total deduction if there are two rate amounts? Split your mileage for the year into before and after June 30th figures. Multiply by the corresponding rate. Add the totals together and you have the deduction. Business miles are not the only transportation deduction getting a bump. You can deduct mileage incurred for moving for a job. The rate for the first six months of 2008 is 19 cents, but the final six months now have a rate of 27 cents. The tax code also contains a provision for a deduction for mileage incurred while helping a charity. The IRS does not control this deduction. Only Congress can modify it. As such, there is no change for fuel prices. Fuel prices are projected to only go higher for the foreseeable future. While the bump in the mileage deduction helps, it may not be the last one in 2008. Keep an eye out for more changes.
